• Add and subtract polynomials
• Multiply monomials and simplify expressions using product of powers rule
• Divide monomials and simplify expressions using quotient of powers rule
• Multiply a polynomial by a monomial using the distributive property
• Multiply binomials and polynomials using FOIL and geometric area models
• Factor polynomials by finding the greatest common factor (GCF)
• Factor quadratic trinomials of the forms x^2 + bx + c and ax^2 + bx + c
• Solve quadratic equations by factoring and applying the zero product property
