Graphing Compound Sentences

Example:  x > 3 and  x ≤ 5

Think:  To be a solution, values must be both greater than 3 and less than or equal to 5.

 

Example:  x > 4 or x < 1

Think:  To be a solution, values must be both greater than 3 or less than or equal to 5.
