Organizing Weather Data in Charts and Tables
When you collect data for an analysis or a report, it is important to organize the information so that it is easy to read and work with. One way to organize data is in a chart or table.
During the first week of April, Mark recorded information about the weather in the city of Milton:
- Monday: 43°F high temperature; 34°F low temperature; cloudy; 0.1 inches rain
- Tuesday: 55°F high temperature; 42°F low temperature; partly cloudy; no precipitation
- Wednesday: 59°F high temperature; 45°F low temperature; sunny; no precipitation
- Thursday: 62°F high temperature; 49°F low temperature; sunny; no precipitation
- Friday: 54°F high temperature; 44°F low temperature; partly cloudy; no precipitation
- Saturday: 52°F high temperature; 41°F low temperature; cloudy; 0.2 inches rain
- Sunday: 52°F high temperature; 43°F low temperature; cloudy; trace of rain
