Participates as a member of a team

Directions: Complete two of the four activities.

  1. Write a paper discussing the importance of contributing equally as a team- highlighting the responsibilities of team members.  

  2. Provide a letter from employer/ committee member addressing your ability to function as a team member.

  3. Complete the attached evaluation on peers you have worked with and/ or co-workers in the work place and also have the results of the evaluation form other group members  completed on you.  

  4. Complete a self-reflection of your performance of being a productive team player.  Include your strengths and weakness as a member of your team.  

  5. Provide documentation from school or other source proving your involvement in peer mediation- such as a letter from a counselor or teacher, any awards and or certificates.

  6. Research the Roles of an effective team.  Include information to support your findings. Utilize your school and/or private  library or provide documentation from Electric library systems.

  7. Students will participate in the cooperative learning activity entitled “High school SciQuest”  by John Beaver, Professor of Education, Buffalo State College listed below.  As a class divided into groups of four students and assigned the roles given.  Students are to complete the task, recording processes and outcomes in a journal, and evaluation on each team member.  In a class presentation, students will discuss findings and share experiences from group interaction. 

  8.  Complete survey taken from the Quizbox.com, listed  below, “What is your working style”, and print out results.  Write a self reflection based on your findings.
