Complete four of the nine activities.
- Write
an essay stating your personal
mission statement in relation to your goals, long and short, in your life.

- Complete
a 4-year plan for high school. Research
your career goal and provide a plan of action to achieve it.
Occupational Outlook Handout. Be
sure to include post secondary education needed.
- Complete
a scholarship search using Bridges, CHOICES or FastWEB.
Choose 1 from the list and print out results.
- Using
an organizer or planner, demonstrate self -management of time, assignments,
and priorities.
- Using
attached hand out, develop a daily “to do” list.
Include time for chores, class work assignments, homework, study time
and free time. Initial each
item accomplished. 4-week
period Complete self-reflection and provide results on self management
abilities. - Gibson
- Write
an essay entitled "Where I want to be in ten years.”
- Take
ASVAB and provide results
- Take
ACT or SAT and provide results
- Experiment:
refrain from watching television or playing video/computer games for
one week. Keep a log of how you spent your time.
Evaluate your experience and reflect on your discoveries about
yourself.
