Directions: Complete one of the two activities below 

1. "Collecting Information on Index Cards"

a. Select a project you would like to complete. ( research, a hobby, a sport, a family tree, various jobs, etc.

b. Gather information about your project.

c. Place information on index cards.

e. Establish a filing system for the information.

f. File your information in a safe place.

g. Allow a teacher or designated person to check your filing system.

c. Use your computer to type your information.

2. Personal Portfolio

 

a. Collect information about your self. ( writings, pictures, awards, honors, presentations, etc.)

b. Use file folders to place your information in categories.

c. Creatively organize your information in a scrap book or folder.

d. Give your portfolio a title.

e. Present your portfolio to a group or to designated individuals.
